The rain, wind & grey skies definitely play with my emotions.
So I've come up with Happy rituals to get me through these cold days & nights including:
Walking in to my place to see bright & beautiful flowers makes me so happy!
Burning fragrant candles and oils to scent our house it's amazing how smell can lift your mood!
Having baths with the petals from the flowers that have freshened our home - small luxury that I remembered from exotic spa's in Thailand.
Waking up to motivational guided meditations from Oprah & Deepak Chopra to awaken feeling grateful really does lift my spirit!
Morning music also moves & lifts my mood as dancing & singing shifts energy around - putting on your favourite music brings back memories in an instant!
Stretching & exercising although my motivation is totally gone, once I finish I feel elated it's just having the discipline to go through with it.
Having a soft and relaxing massage is always a great one - I feel nurtured and comforted after one.
My naughty pleasure is also watching Sex & the city episodes or any feel good movies - absolutely love a Rom Com (Romantic Comedy) & not afraid to say it!
